Tobogganing on the Kellerjoch
The longest toboggan run in Tyrol - and the second longest in Austria! - high above the silver town of Schwaz is a true tobogganing paradise. The ascent is on the Grafenast-Arbeser double chairlift at 1,887m up to the Hecherhaus. From the Hecherhaus, the mountain station of the local ski area, you can toboggan nine kilometers down into the valley to the medieval Freundsberg Castle.
The new facility, which opened in winter 2017/18, is not only top in terms of grooming and snow reliability, it has also been awarded the Tyrolean natural toboggan run seal of approval.
